You're missing out on several awesome albums, including "Come All You Madmen" by the Briggs and "White Noise" by the Living End (US release date unknown).
Then again, you do like things that suck, evidenced by scrolling down your list.
Is the MGMT album as dancy/up-beat/gay-seeming as "Time to Pretend"? Because I really like that song.
Engelbert - If the album did have a US release date in 2008 it would obviously not be on the list. Also you are the only one that still listens to faux-punk/ska aussie TRL bands from the late 90s. Now go find Frank Stallone for me - bastard ain't returning my calls.
Alex - nothing is as gay-seeming as you think it is, how is this not obvious to you by now? That said yeah there are a couple other trax y'll prolly like but it not like its the next Circus or anything. (How is the Leave-britney-alone-guy fanclub coming along BTW?)

dude, I made the TRL joke - you can't make the same joke back, lame-o. Also Chumbawumba totally broke up like years ago and the NKOTB show isn't for a few weeks.

It is well documented that you find these flicks to be scrumtrilescent.
I have to agree with the Living End "White Noise" recommendation. It's not their best album, but it's still damn good and one of the best of 2008. So I guess that makes two of us who are still listening to faux-punk/ska aussie TRL bands.
Looking over your list I have about 80% of your non-weird selections.
